Zodiac Sign: While Hellenism is largely discredited religion, the use and beliefs surrounding constellations and birthsigns still remains. While nothing really prevents anyone from mastering any forms of magic, it is true, that according to studies in magic theory that certain individuals born under specific signs seem to pick up certain aspects much better to the respective god associated with it. whether or not this is truly some supernatural power, or circumstantial, or possibly just a self fulfilling prophecy, remains to be seen. How well this will or won't work, I'm not sure of just yet. 120 points between 8 stats. 20 is an average score, while 50 is the peak of human performance. Beyond that is supernatural. I can fill it out myself if people need me to as long as I know what the intended spread is. Skill is unique in that since this is specifically how you fare in combat, it would be defined as skill in a specific weapon style. Bows, Swords, spears, staves, ect. There's no limit to the amount of weapon types someone can have as skill, by they still track individually, meaning you probably wouldn't want more than two at most. This would also apply to someone's ability to tap into magic in the place of conventional weapons. Resolve reflects your ability to stay calm and makes you less likely to succumb to panic, and resist indirect magical and mental influencing effects. Reputation is how well known you are, by both your side and your enemies. This can be pretty double edged, but a warrior with a higher reputation has a better time trying to rally allies or cause fear in their enemies just by being there. Bond Levels: If any. How to do this is still a complicated debate. I'm thinking that (with exceptions depending on the relationship) player characters would start at one for each other from being in the same mercenary outfit, but likely not having been personally close, though that's not a hard line rule. I was thinking to allow at least 2 characters at 3(roughly what they'd consider life long friends) and one character at 6(Family they're on good terms with, a mentor, or something along those lines.) Background: I'm still unsure of how to handle magic as a stat, but I feel that system is fine enough to keep it as a subset of skill, mainly just swapping out the ability to use more standard weapons. I did debate having emotional effects play a bigger role, but I think I'm opting out of doing that part, at least until maybe I can think of how to retool it.
So, the combat stats will be something like this, right? Strength 20 Vitality 15 Speed 15 Skill - Sword 25 Skill - Magic 5 Perception 10 Tactics 10 Resolve 15 Reputation 5 Note: I am treating 15 as the average, as 120/8 equals 15.
Is it? Then the average can be lowered a bit if that’s mathematically easier. Essentially. If you don’t want to make use of the thing, that’s fine, though one bar would equal to 20. Five sections equals to 100 is how I got that, but if people have a better alternative, I’m open to it. The only reason behind it in the first place, is to look more visually interesting. As for starting gold, I’m going to leave it at 50-at least roughly the equivalent in exchange rate from whatever place the character is from. No need for the math on that. It’s not especially important.

While pretty ignorant about the world (which she hides behind a mask of dispassionate refinement), she did learn to handle a rapier better than most people in her youth and she actually likes the free and flexible mercenary lifestyle to a degree. For the most part, she is still getting a feel for her place in the world overall and may open up to more people over time as she gets used to being around them.

His grandparents died of old age after managing to survive all of their mercenary jobs. His parents were not so lucky – they died in battle a couple of years ago. Toran is still in his early twenties, but is already quite skilled with the sword. He also has some skill in magic, mostly defensive buffs such as magic armor, but he plans to learn more, such as a healing spell. Toran has some distant relatives - an uncle, aunt, and two cousins - that he has not seen in years. Sexual stuff: Likes fucking tits and asses. He has no desire to have children just yet, so he avoids vaginal. Toran prefers women that are tall, with long legs and big tits. Bonus points if they are dressed like nobles, and even more bonus points if they are actual noblewomen. Having a shapely butt that he can squeeze and grope is a nice bonus.

Background: An orphan from a countryside temple, he has no idea who his parents were. But the other kids, and some of the adults in town had said that he was abandoned by a merchant family due the star he was born under, Scorpio which was under the god Hermes, god of thieves, cunning, and luck. They feared that he might grow up to be a thief, or worse. So they had simply thrown him away as they passed by a distant town. However, there was no proof of this. And thankfully, there was a kind nun, Artemisia, who believed in him as he grew up. Which allowed him to grow up without being depressed, and even obtaining a goal to strive for. All the while developping a crush for the busty woman. "After all, people kept saying how my parents were merchants who threw me away. Then I just need to be a merchant that's bigger than them in return!" Marius said to himself as he studied hard to become a wealthy merchant. Sadly, his path was long, and narrow as he was but an orphan without a a coin to his name. Followed by hearing the rumors about how Artemisia had ran away from the temple to join a mercenary band. Marius decided follow after her, hoping to use whatever funds, and equipment he could scavenge, and earn as a mercenary to start up his business. (Anything I need to change/add?)
Updated my character sheet. Might add in another bond with an NPC, but for now, I'm pretty much done.
A small addition to Toran's background to mention that he has some distant relatives. Can't think of anything else to add, so my character is ready.
