currently, we have unread in green and updated in blue. Just as an example I've made a mockup: I think the Bookmarks will make it easier to see where you are in a story you are in, and the written makes it easy to see what chapters you have written, I think it would be useful on stories you're adding chapters too that isn't your own. Edit: also if the thumb showed differently when you'd liked a chapter
Duplicate to Seeing what you've bookmarked from the story map and Reader Likes Display In Story Map On stories which aren't your own, you see your own chapters by the ellipsis at the end of the line.
