A story, $10 Whore, has a child thread added to a thread that I created. I notice that when viewing my thread the addition is there as a child-thread, but when I switch to the story map it is listed as a sibling thread instead. ie, my thread and it have the same parent thread in the story map. Since the thread is obviously a continuation of my thread (read it to see), it should be showing in the story map as a child of mine. The thread in question has a child thread of its own by now, which might complicate things (or not). Story: https://chyoa.com/story/10-whore/cover ($10 Whore story created by abominable0man) Parent in story: https://chyoa.com/story/10-whore/thread/as-a-stripper (by me, bsnick) Parent in story map: https://chyoa.com/story/10-whore/thread/a-rough-neighborhood (by Voidhawk2) Thread in question: https://chyoa.com/story/10-whore/thread/erin-enters-the-contest (11kestrels) Child of thread in question: https://chyoa.com/story/10-whore/thread/the-rise-of-catwoman (11kestrels) I'm not sure what the protocol should be for an issue like this, like if I should be contacting abominable0man and 11kestrels, or doing it this way. Anyway, to recap, the story map should show: as-a-stripper -> erin-enters-the-contest -> the-rise-of-catwoman
Thanks for the note and the detailed description. I have rebuilt the story map for $10 Whore. The cause was the tree traversal bug (chronologically newer threads are approved before older ones by the owner/editor). If it happens again, send me a PM or post it in the forum. Once the story map is mixed up, I have to manually intervene.
