I have gotten multiple notifications on my moderated story saying that there are submitted chapters pending review, but when I go to “Review Chapters” it says that there are no chapters to review. I did manage to approve/publish one chapter that I managed to come across by accident.
If someone added chapters to your story, you should see the name of the chapter with the chapter link in the notification. What happens if you follow the link? Maybe the author published the chapter but deleted it afterward. (The notification should also include who published the chapters, so you could ask the user what happened.)
