Can I add pictures to my story chapters

I am writing stories and each has a cover picture but I have been asked to add an image to each chapter but cant figure out how. could someone please help.

How did you do that? Mine is coming up as a link? is it the "link" you use the issue

 

Have you double checked that you've posted it correctly =  ?

I always leave the [] empty. Also be sure that there's no spaces in the () .

Without knowing what you're linking I can't say if the link is the issue, but I've never had an issue with a link

 

What I did was post the wrong link. I posted the "direct link" and it worked fine.
