I have different passwords for the main site and the forum. I don't want different passwords. It's just that if I'm on the forum and click down to the password option, changing the password only changes the password to the main site. So I'm stuck with password on the forum which I can't remember and seemingly only changeable by e-mail to another password I can't remember. Is there any way out of this silly situation?
You should now be able to log in with the same password on the site and on the forum. The passwords are normally the same but I suppose that you have reset your password on the forum and therefore the synchronisation didn't work anymore. In other words, thanks for finding this bug
I've still got the problem. BTW this is not the only site I'm have a problem with so I wonder if there's a problem with my browser. I went through the same process today and got to a stage with which neither of my passwords worked for the story site but I know have access to both again
