I posted a chapter about 15 or so hours ago, which hasn't be approved as of yet. This is my first time publishing in someone else's story, so I don't know if this is the normal time limit or something else. Help, anyone?
Chapters submitted to other stories are reviewed by the story owner or an editor of the story. So it depends on them how long it takes. If it takes too long, you might try to contact the story owner about it. (If their profile says "A while ago," ask a moderator if the story has an editor. If it doesn't, you could adopt it or ask for a review by a moderator. If the profile says "In another dimension," a moderator can tell you if the user is still active or if there are editors.) If you are a regular writer, the story owner might give you the story role Author that would allow you to publish your own chapters to the story without getting reviewed by the story owner/an editor.
