So this is an idea I had for Romance. Paul and Peter are identical twin brothers. They are straight but are in a relationship together with Monica, Erica, Rita, Tina, Sandra, Mary, and Jessica, who are all polyamorous Bi-girls and met up in college. They buy a big ranch out west with some money from somewhere and settle down to a nice domestic life... And that's all I've got so far. I need some ideas for where to take the story from there other than, "They fuck together happily ever after..."
IMO if it was me I would make Paul and Peter fairly different rather than identical twins (cliche example make one sporty whilst the other is nerdy) As for places to take the story: -How do they afford the ranch? Do they have to save up for it? Maybe the girls have to do some porn shoots or escort work? -EDIT: What if they had to had to buy a ranch for cheap and now have to fix it up? -Do the six girls stick to the two males in the house or does one of them decide to go outside of the relationship with other men? How do the others react to that? -Do the girls have different work schedules? What if one of them is lazy about finding work and just fucks around with one (or both) of the boys? -If one of the girls is providing an important chunk of the income, what happens if they become pregnant? -How do their families react to the whole situation? -How do the locals react? Do they want to join in? Maybe someone thinks they're part of some wacko cult?
Good suggestions all, especially the Edited one! Some of them I'm not going to use because I wouldn't enjoy writing them, but I'm going to think about incorporating most of them into the story! The only one I definitely won't use is the "cheating spouses" angle, having experienced that IRL I can't write it without it dredging up bad memories that just kills the writing mojo. A few others, like the filming porn angle and escort* work, are unlikely, but not a firm "NO." *(Would specifically be strictly "escort"† not 'escort'‡ though, as, again, cheating just kills my mojo.) †(Like, fake girlfriends for Valentine's Day, Thanksgiving, or your High School Reunion, and so forth.) ‡(Read: whoring.)
