    Pretty simple right?

And I really think no one proposed it this time.

No need for all the colors of the universe but why not add the possibility to color text in red blue green.

It could replace bold or italics for a few things and be a nice addition to write multiple characters dialogs without having to remind who is saying what for each sentence.

I plead for the full color wheel of ROY G BIV plus Brown, White, And Black, but otherwise support the suggestion.

I added some examples below if someone on smaller devices want to give some feed back. Yellow is not possible as shown below. Blue might get confused for links.
    Red- The color of love.
Orange- Orange you glad you came here.
Yellow- Can you even read this
Green- I see trees of green...
Blue- Blue skies from here on out.
Indigo- My name is Indigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.
    Violet- I got nothing.

Yellow is always eye rapingly terrible for text on a white background.

Adding coloured text would be nice, it would be also nice although I have seen enough terrible websites to know people would misuse it.

Honestly if it was just adding red I would like it anyway. I'd just like to have a way to have something really stand out in a chapter.

And yes some people, I'll misuse it, but then no one will read their stories if it becomes an issue.

You never put color on color or metal on metal, (White/Light Gray = Silver, Yellow = Gold, Orange = Copper.) However, if the main site gets a dark background option, or we could put a background color to the text, then yellow becomes viable. (Imagine trying to read that blue on a black background...)

Having a dark mode for the site ala tvtropes would be great.

Color formatting could lead to problems when implementing skins (dark mode or sth)
The colors would have to change or there would be problems with readability.

You can use the Markdown's code highlighting to create red text with a fixed width font.
See the CHYOA Guide as example how it looks like (at the very bottom)

It can be done by enclosing the text with back-ticks:
    Code:
    `highlighted text`

I am don't like this one just colored text would cause migraines but I don't read that many stories so I am neither for or against it.

Did someone just add this or was it always there?

On the other hand I didn't even knew that such thing as a back tick existed a one minute ago. What it is used for except for that?

    I think so.

It is used in some (many?) languages to modify the spelling of a character.

It is also used in things related to programming, though probably all basic ASCII characters are used for programming because there are not that many characters.
