This is a must have for me. I think the possibility to show (greyed out) the threads for which you don't have the right requisites is already implemented but can be only managed by the Author/Editor of the story. - My first suggestion is to have what the Author decided as the default but leave to the user the possibility to switch to "show/hide them" - My second dream would be to be able to see which are the requisites for being able to access a particular thread, this is another must have for me because right now it's impossible to check and a lot of users are gonna miss a lot of content.
Variables can be invisible, so stating that your (invisible) variable needs a special value to access a chapter wouldn't give much information away.
