None of the captives are aware of how they got in these cells or who is holding them captive. Florescent lighting flickers high above showing no windows or doors, and pale white padded walls all around them. The floor looks to be metallic with nothing inside the 30 foot by 30 foot room other then the captives. Each captive is separate from and is unaware of any other captives. "Hello...Welcome...Your are to be tested for an experiment. The test will short shortly..." The computerized female voice echos repetitively a couple more times translated to fit the language of each prisoners tongue.
He looks around his cell, first. He has a faint memory of cold, but other than that, his head is empty. Seeing that the cell is a blank space, with only gravity and the difference of the floor to differentiate one spot from another, he looks down at himself. He has a snout, which ends in a horn. He is completely naked, and has green scales, light green on his belly and fading to darker green in the other places, with occasionally spots of blue striping. His hands and feet end in claws. Between his legs is a sheath and balls, covered in green scales, currently dormant. With nothing left to inspect, he sits down and waits for something to happen.
The opposite wall opens up to allow him outside of his cell. A faint light flickers beyond the cell calling for an escape and recovery of his memory.
Standing up, he heads towards the now-open wall. He wonders if this is strange - do walls normally open on their own? Still, it's open now, and there's no way of knowing how long it will remain open... His tail swings behind him as he walks through the gap and out of his cell.
Once entirely out of the cell the walls close the cell once more. Orange glowing arrows on the floor direct the stranger down the hall into a bright wide open center. White walls surround the large dome room that has three entrances across from the character. Bright lights high above shine above removing any shadows in the room. That same voice from before asks the character "State your name stranger to begin the testing."
(Sorry for the delay on this.) He walks down the corridor, his claws scraping slightly against the ground with every step. He looks briefly around the room, noting each of the doors, then pauses as he hears the voice. "I'm... uh..." He coughs slightly, then has a thought. "...Poisonhook?"
(Could use one more character soon) "Welcome Poisonhook! I'll be giving you a rapid set of tests to examine your species abilities, afterwards you'll be moving onto the next round. Are you ready?" The voice booms through the chamber moving the voice around test patient.
"...I assume so. It's not like there's much else I could be." He stretches slightly, getting ready for the 'examination'.
A faint sound moves around the room growing steadily growing to a piercing sound before an erupting total silence then picks up once more with more speed. It repeats several more times picking up pace before ending. The center of the room's floor opens up bringing in a small brown mouse. It scurries over to Poisonhook sniffing his claws.
The high, keening wail is right on the edge of his hearing, and it makes his teeth vibrate slightly. By the end of it, the lizard-thing's head is reeling from the sound, and he's stumbling slightly. Then it stops, and a mouse emerges. Poisonhook ignores the mouse.
The mouse moves quickly taking a bite of the hard skin of the lizard, but cannot seem to dig its teeth in. It scurries back to the center. On the way to the middle a laser shoots down wiping the little mouse completely. The laser moves around in a random pace around the room. Eventually reaching Poisonhook and burning a slight hole on the skin on the edge of the tail. blood is drawn.
