As it stands the mobile version of the site just fiddles with aspect ratios and content locations slightly, it's a slapdash port of the desktop site: not actually mobile optimized. For one thing, the "window-in-window" thing with the sidebar works great on desktop, very poorly on mobile. I propose that a fully mobile device optimized version of the main site be created based on how the forums adapt to mobile.
Agreed. I find myself turning on Desktop Mode when on mobile, and simple things like chapter likes/views are missing from the Story Map page on mobile, when there's clearly enough room to display that information.
