When I get a mail because someone responded on the forum I get a sneak peek of it from the mail, but when I get on on the site I am forced to open the browser to check it. This, added to the delay means that I often do it only to discover it wasn't an answer but a notification for a message I already saw. I never cared before but working with other authors on a story means that I have 5 conversations with between 20 and 70 messages in each and it becomes difficult and repetitive to open the site on browser just to see the messages. So why not do the same thing as with the forum?
