Domino City Duel Academy Staff and Faculty

A wealthy, well regarded businessman, Tomomi amassed a grand fortune by investing in the fledgling Professional Dueling Association a few years ago. Now, he oversees the academy as it's inaugural president and headmaster.

Professors

Known for his calm, calculated approach to dueling while competing in the PDA, Rene found success with a deck built around Volcanics, but he never was able to do more than win the occasional tournament. Now retired from the circuit after a being a presence since the league's inception five years ago, he leads the Mathematics Department and supervises the Obelisk Blue men's dorm.

A one-time PDA champion, Yumi Itou relied on a strategy centered on Airknight Parshath and his other forms to narrowly defeat most challengers in thrilling contests. Reckless play throughout the next few seasons saw her fail to reach that height again. Whether she is also retiring or simply looking to re-tool her deck, Yumi is the lead professor of the Dueling Studies Department and is the Duel Academy's flagship instructor. She heads the Obelisk Blue women's dorm.

The kind yet guarded Sayen Kelsey leads the Psychology and Sociology Department. Heading the Ra Yellow women's dorm, she set aside her career as a practicing psychologist with her own clinic to teach at the academy.

A gruff, experienced man, Timoteo nevertheless jumped at the offer to finally run his own Chemistry Department. The wizened overseer of the Silfer Red men's dorm is curt and no-nonsense.

Loud and outgoing, Phoebe leads the Literature and Writing Department. Young for a professor, the head of the Silfer Red women's dorm couldn't be more different than her male counterpart.
