hello good day, I wanted to consult regarding an event that happened to me with a chapter that I wrote, in which the character changed his appearance and "looked like a child" but it was not, it was the idea similar to what happens in the movie "little but dangerous" where a man over 40 poses as a minor, but is still an adult, he is confused because it is a dwarf or small man, I downloaded the story and other chapters, I wanted to consult if this is because they want to avoid writing about pedophilia? or about similar acts, because it seems strange to me since the genre of "shota" in japan is something very used within fantasies, I wanted to know if someone can advise me or explain it to me ? thanks
Review Rule 1: https://chyoa.com/chapter/Rules.560688 Check the second point in the first section of that rule: the character is physically described as underage (e.g. a body height which is very unusual for an 18-year-old) In other words, CHYOA treats characters that look underage no differently from characters that are actually underage. You can't write about children being in erotic contexts, even if "he wasn't really 13 he was still over 18 he just looked younger." Additionally, 3'2" is about the height of a 4-year old, and far below the norm for both a 13-year-old and an 18-year-old. Note that your chapters didn't actually violate any rules because they didn't contain any content. It was the chapters preceding yours that was deemed to be rule-breaking. If you were to write content to your chapters, then yes, they would probably be locked. Because of this, I would recommend you avoid working on this particular branch in the future. Japan has different laws than other parts of the world. CHYOA is based on US laws.
