Since people seem good with the idea of character creation for this, I'll move the thread for them over here. You aren't required to have both a human and a spirit character. It's an option to play both though. I'll also allow anyone who with a human character to introduce a ghost character for them to use later, and vice versa. So you don't need to decide on what you want to do for both right away. Spoiler: Exorcists/Mortals Name: Gender: Occupation: Appearance; Background: Skills: Occupation/Lifestyle: +3 to one skill. This isn't necessarily your job, but what you're character deeply focuses on doing with their lives. It is a major portion of their lives that they can't imagine being cut out. Choose a major event in your character's life that influenced their outlook and life and their talents. This could be something like getting mugged and beaten causing them to train in martial arts and self defense(+2 to Hand To Hand) Choose two minor events that happened in their life that they learned something from or hobbies that they picked up skills from . It could be something like owning a dog teaching them about animals to a degree or passing out drunk at a party and embarrassing themselves taught them about self control. (+1 to Animal care, +1 to Temperance) Then there is the option to be a Generalist(+1 to two( Or three? Unsure by how much) other skills) or a Specialist (+3 to one skill). While a ghost might not remember everything about their past life, they will almost definitely remember how they died. The specifics do correlate into what abilities they have an affinity with(Death by fire, tends to make a ghost more prone to fire based abilities. +2 to Fire Manipulation) Past Life: +3 to a power related to what their former life was. Memories of your past life that you do remember. Something a large enough part of that person's life, they still carry a little bit of onwards. Things you still retain as knowledge from things you've done and experienced as a mortal. A ghost who was a musician in former life like still retains musical talent as a spirit. (+3 Music Hypnosis) Formerly a high school senior who wanted to become a rockstar, she was considered weird by a lot of the other students for her obsession with the punk rock lifestyle. Spending all night waiting for a boy that never showed up, she fell asleep and the candles she lit had ended up with her room catching fire while she was asleep. As a ghost, she wants to claim the popularity she never had in real life by using her powers of mind control to make everyone loyal followers of her music. Affinity: +1 to three others powers. In addition to the powers they have from these events, they still have affinity for some other powers. Usually these often translate in the natural stock abilities. +1 Flight, +1 Intangible, +1 Teleportation People: Important enough they still remember these people. Family to rivals to potentially their killer. It's something of an emotional anchor to them. It's entirely possible for ghosts to remember each other from when they were alive.

They're not always direct copies of her, and can vary in terms of build, age, and some aspect of their personality. During her life, Yseult served as a highborn family's Head Maid. Dedicating with pride her life to care and cater to the whims the Masters and Mistresses. While she directed her fellow maidservants and butlers, Yseult also took a firm hand in raising the family's heir from a baby by breastfeeding them to changing their diapers, to playing and later overseeing their education. She had always loved them, but it grew from platonic and innocent into something deeper and raw by the end and Yseult planned to introduce them to adulthood as directly as she had everything else in their life. Their surprised scream as she took them late one night alerted the Master and Mistress. Had a solid idea for the ghost so got that out first, still going back and forth with some potential human characters. But he's coming.

As a result, when he is pushed too far by stress or arousal he transforms into a hulking, tentacle wielding beast that can only be calmed down by viciously beating a man to death or sexually ravishing the first woman (human or ghost) he can catch. Sebastian was the youngest son of a fairly wealthy family. He also remembers his brother as someone else he betrayed, in Sebastian's mind his aide having been abused by him so horribly. However, if somehow, some way, evidence of the truth were somehow possible to be presented to him... who knows what might happen.
The journalist seems good. I think Tjf wanted to do a journalist too. They might be rival show hosts then if that's a thing you and @Tjf would want to go for. I don't know if Tjf is definitely doing that idea, but maybe just a suggestion. Pretty dark, but I guess that's inevitable with the setting to some degree. Overall, it's not a big issue, I think(Player interactions should be agreed upon though.) Though you're aware making a character whose instincts are to kill and rape everything will almost definitely be the first one on the chopping block for the human characters want to get rid off? You can play this way...but, it is going to be really high risk to play, just so you're aware. And like I covered, while players should have free reign, I still need to write it, so I'm not inclined to doing gratuitous rape and violence. It's still allowed within limits. If knowing that all sounds fine to you, it looks good. The concept is interesting anyway and can be potentially fun, I think.

Alright. I still enjoy non con myself. I just dislike it when it becomes excessive. While I don’t plan on killing any character’s off, if for whatever reason it happens, you can always make a new ghost. As much as you try to clear out the castle, you never get them all(There is actually something to this, but I won’t cover it yet.) I’m questioning if in this case, I shouldn’t use die rolls even if I’m not normally a fan of them, just so I have something to fall back on and it feels less personal if things don’t go the intended way for people. But thinking of a whole die roll system for this would be complex.
Using variations of Yseut to name and differentiate the clones. Can probably squeeze out around the region of ten-ish names without getting too creative. Fine with having Yseut calm Sebastian down if it would come to that, tentacles are fun. Might even feel some sympathy for him, due to their shared troubles with love and how they lead to their respective deaths. Possibly pull him through to the Mirror World to let him rampage there until he can be attended to properly if Daylan is willing. Pretty all or nothing though once he goes into his monstrous form. Easing some of it would probably make him easier to play and handle inside the RP. And lol, poor Kelsa.
If Yseut can provide a release valve/time out space, I won't say no. It could lead to an interesting dynamic between them.
Clones are handy for this type of thing. Just throw two or three his way to act as a distraction. Really, it's a small price to pay if it means protecting the irreplaceable antiques from being potentially destroyed by one of his rampages. And if it can be done inside the Mirror World she won't have to clean up the mess all those tentacles will make afterward either. Then there's the fact that everyone needs some stress relief at times and a chance to release pent up frustrations, even ghostly maids. Imagine she's also quite sweet on and friendly with Sebastian, for the reasons I listed earlier. Although probably a bad influence as far as love is concerned.
