So, with the RPG section of the forum being pretty dead right now, I have decided that I will need to step up into the gap. I have four ideas (well, four and a half ideas) for what game I could run, and I would like community feedback.

    Idea 1: The generic heroes.
You’re a group of adventurers, heroing your way across the face of a generic fantasy world. Total freedom of character choice, as I will be defining exactly one small section of the world in detail, and one large section in vague brushstrokes. Heroism. Not overly dark. Pretty much a simple easy game.

    Idea 2: Going home.
You're a group of, well, it's kind of hard to work out a unifying theme. Having been driven out of your homelands by the rise of the God-Child, and forced into the endless wastelands that surround the civilised world, you've banded together with the aim of retaking your homelands.

    Idea 3: Threes.
There exists, somewhere in the multiverse, a world divided into three parts, with the parts also divided into threes again. The heavenly realms of Humility, Purity and Forgiveness. The earthly realms of the (vaguely Middle Eastern) Kharene Dynasty, the (vaguely Japanese) Asudo Shogunate and the (vaguely European) Kingdom of Islovalon. The infernal realms of Greed, Lust and Wrath. You come from one of these realms.

    Idea 4: Orclayer.
Based off an old GURPS module. You're a squire of Lord Leonard, who has been tasked with, along with the other squires, striking out up through the Great Barrens. Your job will be to strike at the heart of the orclands and wreak their forces. Failing that, you are to establish a route along which a larger army might advance, and scout ahead and kill as many orcs as possible.

    Idea 4.5: Resurrection.
If the players/GMs of A Tale From Horizon and/or For Queen and Country would like to keep going with those games, I won't run anything but will join back in.

Regardless of which game I run, I would prefer to run it in FATE Core, as it is freely available online (http://www.evilhat.com/home/fate-core-downloads/) and joins the characters up before play starts.

Honestly, (and I think *all* these ideas are very good), I kind of like the idea of performing as an army scout (team).

The basic twin settings of returning to the army camp to resupply, gather information, etc. (like the army camp is the home city, only it's on the move), vs being in the field.

Dealing with civilians - depending on how far you're into enemy territory having neutral, or helpful-but-needy civilians, or saboteurs, or just stupid civilians, or...

Finding other lost scouts and groups. Providing support. Making decisions about accomplishing goals or saving lives.

Completing missions based on army needs - from killing to foraging and raiding locals for supplies - balancing military duties with morality.

Army politics - shitty officers that get people killed, shitty troops that are mean bastards. Desertions - what to do with deserters that leave for various reasons. Not being sent on suicide missions for pissing the wrong person off.

The occasional pitched battle, climactic scenes of army vs. army. Kill and survive as best you can, with shifting lines and where going too deep into enemy territory means death.

    And more.

... It seems like there could be lots of fun things that lend themselves very naturally to a roleplaying campaign, without being forced, and with goals that the GM can just tell if they want (via army orders) rather than those that require player input/backstories or are just thrown in there, and a lot of realistic opportunities for action (instead of *oh shit this farmstead is also being raided. No one in the world, in your vicinity, by coincidence, would survive two seconds without your help!*)

Personally I like the first idea (the generic fantasy world) the most, as it offers the most freedom.

Any idea which fetishes will be included for sure, and which ones will NOT be included for sure?

For sure: Sex. F/F, M/F, M/M and continuations thereof. Non-human characters, including at least one race that isn't just "humans with attachments" and is playable. Violence, death and gore outside of sex.

Not happening: Watersports. Scat. Violence, death and gore inside of sex. Incest (among PCs, among NPCs is possible but don't expect me to describe it). Rape (again, involving PCs, enemies will be somehow miraculously commanded not to kill or rape downed PCs. NPCs, though might go ahead with rape, but again, don't expect anything more than a "this is happening".)

These apply regardless of world. Worlds might have specific kinks or pairings, for instance "Going Home" will likely involve a lot of PC couplings while "The generic heroes" will probably involve a lot of extra-party bonking.

Also, it's worth noting, if Nemo agrees, and we can get Majus back, we can restart For Queen and Country, thereby making this whole discussion irrelevant.

I'm afraid I won't be restarting Queen And Country any time soon. It limped right from the start, and I'm not up to continuing it right now.

Edit: the story it is based on is being revived though...
