So I was wondering, what are your favorite settings for sci fi or fantasy smut that you have read or written? What worlds really grabbed you?
Well... I wrote a decent branch start in Memoirs of a Minion. I don't know that the setting was more gripping than another, but the opportunity for character creation (any evil minion you can form in your imagination) and flexibility of the premise while still retaining a solid amount of structure to build on was appealing from an author's standpoint and I wanted to try something a little different. I did. Try something a little different, that is. I still have some plans for continuing it, but after so many loose ends I've really tried to be exclusive to my current project. Probably a more interesting world creation scene that I liked (and expanded on a bit until I abandoned that too) was Sthaana's 'heaven' in Blowjob universe. The setting is expanded on the further you go, particularly the leaving behind the imp girl path. I thought it was an interesting combination with a kind of mild mathematic/sci-fi undertone to a religion-touched-fantasy setting. Punctuated by super sloppy blowjob violations.
Oh, I forgot to mention initially, my personal favorites are Jizzrar's Aesyr from conflicts of divine interest, just because it's got a super well-fleshed out world, and also tmj2008's a smuggler's life for me. I like that one in particular for the great creativity of the races and the and the way they are described. It's hard to make something with four eyes and purple skin sound sexually appealing, but he manages it somehow.
