I saw the thread "Alternative Writing Tools" (I didn't want to grave-dig the thread), then I saw "TheBrain". it looks great, but it costs money. Plus, it seems like a overly big solution for a not-so-big problem. So I did some scouring, and I found "FreeMind". It calls itself a "premier free mind-mapping software". It has had no update since 2016, but the software is pretty nice, and its free. Each idea-node allows for entry of multi-line text data, aside from the label. So, it is highly ideal for anyone wanting to plan out the structure of a story here on Chyoa. It uses an installer, and operates from an exe file, not a jar. Find it at Sourceforge.
