Is there code we can use to loop a hosted .GIF? Not sure if that's on that's on host side or this side.

Looping is set during the of creation of a GIF. You can set it to play a set number of times, even only once, or you can set it to loop indefinitely. Photoshop has all the options for this, but my favorite quick site for making GIFs is EZGIF.com. They'll convert videos, resize GIFs, crop them, et cetera.

For hosting the photo, I suggest creating an account on Imgur and setting your account to automatically upload albums as "private" and upload images in "high quality". The private setting makes sure your photos aren't automatically shared on Imgur's front page and that way you always have control of them and they won't get deleted (probably).

Got it, thanks for the direction! Took some tool around so I figure I'd post what I found to work.

After downloading a non-looping .gif, used lunaPic site, edit animation and loop. Then in the UI of LunaPic I direct uploaded to EZphotoshare and it worked. Imgur gave message about pornogrpahic content.

    Glad it worked! :D

Yeah, Imgur doesn't like porn images if you upload them publicly, which can automatically put them on the site's front page. I use them for hosting porn from time to time, but I'm careful to make sure the albums are set to private first :p
