God Mode

A mode for people who are writing game stories to be able to, while editing/adding to their stories, set variable scores to whatever they desire.

As game mode stories get longer it becomes tiresome to "play" them multiple times in order to have the correct score in order to make certain they don't bug out.

 

I think this may be the best ssugestion ever! (And one of the hardest to implement...)

 

While I totally agree with this suggestion, there is a workaround for that.
Just add one (or more) draft chapters to your introduction, define variables for them and link them deep into your story. Then you can test your chapters with a defined set of variables.

Using Draft chapters for this sort of thing never even occured to me. Thanks for the suggestion!

 

Yeah having a Debug mode would be handy.

 

I know. It was a real head slapping moment when I read this.

 

This is probably the most important suggestion on the site right now, in my opinion.
