Ok, I was rambling around and writing on alternate endings for my current story... and I remembered how much I LOVE the old 1985 movie "Clue" I know there's an OLD clue story CHYOA already, but I am gravitating towards the movie, because it sets up potential sexual situations much better. In addition, it's surprisingly lighthearted for a murder mystery. "Just checking!" "Everything all right?" "Yup, two corpses, everything's fine." I'm thinking that in general, the plot would follow the general timeframe of the movie, with the players either taking the role of one of the main players, or an OC. (However, I think an OC might push it just a little too far into Mary Sue territory, and I'd love thoughts on that. I think Mr. Green might be a good role, especially considering his reveal in the alternate endings) So, changing the characters JUST a little to make it a porn/erotica version, the characters are... Wadsworth: The Butler, either the REAL mastermind or an innocent victim of his late wife's political views depending on the ending. (Porn version would have his wife alive, kicking, and either an accomplice or a victim of blackmail, OR replace Wadsworth all together. Either works well and I like the idea of a Villainous couple.) Colonel Mustard: US Army War Profiteer. Blackmailed for both affairs with Evette and selling radio parts on the black market. Porn version would have him be more of a DILF, but mostly unchanged. Miss Scarlet: Madam. Bribes police in Washington. Either a information broker or exactly what she says she is. Employer of Evette. Mrs. Peacock: Wife of a US Senator. Passes political bribes from foreign powers. In this version she'll be his SECOND wife, and quite hypocritical about almost everything, including sex. Being blackmailed with regards to political activities. Mrs. White: Black Widow. Has had multiple former husbands who all disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Claims she did not murder them and is being blackmailed with false evidence. Professor Plum: UN family planning councilor with the World Health Organization. Lecherous as hell, and has slept with numerous patients. Blackmailed for ethical breaches. Mr. Green: State Department official. Blackmailed for being gay. In the movie it's revealed that he's an undercover agent for the FBI investigating organized crime. Porn version would have him encounter many opportunities to prove he wasn't... especially as he's the only character explicitly said to have a living wife in the film. (Cheating scenes ahoy!) The Motorist: Colonel Mustard's former Army Driver. Murdered during story. Porn version would probably have him be Colonel Mustard's former lover as well. Mr. Boddy: The blackmailer. Murdered twice during story. Possibly Three times depending on your point of view. Porn version would have had him demand more than just money from people. The Cop: The cop on Miss Scarlett's beat. Been taking protection money from her for years. Murdered during story. Porn version would also have had him taking liberties with Miss Scarlett. Evette: The French Maid. Has slept with Colonel Mustard, Mrs. White's Husband, Worked for Miss Scarlett, and it's suggested has also unwillingly slept with Mr. Boddy. Porn version would probably not change her... at all. Murdered during the story. Mrs. Ho: The cook. Former Cook for Mrs. Peacock. Cantonese. We only saw her for a little bit in the film, and most of it was fat chinese woman jokes, so this character can really use an update. Joan of Arc... I mean The Singing Telegram Girl: (Sorry, couldn't resist the Bill and Ted joke) Girl who shows up on the doorstep and is shot dead. Former patient of Professor Plum. When she's murdered it's treated as a joke. At that point there's so many corpses... what's one more? Porn version would at LEAST let her get in the door. The Chief: The character who comes in with the Calvary (FBI) at the end of the story to arrest the murderer/murderers. He's in EVERY ending, but it's done differently every time. Originally played by Howard Hesseman, this one absolutely would have to be replaced by an appropriate porn character, because I really don't want to see a 70 something bearded guy... Just a fun idea. If there's enough interest in this, I'll do it. It's admittedly Fanfic, but I think of it more as the "Porn Parody" version of the film.

Heh. Why not? That could be quite fun. The Rope, The Dildo, The Candle Wax, The Strap On, The Electric Wand and the Flogger... "In your hands... you each hold a pleasurable implement..."
Clue is an awesome movie. I can't say for certain if I'd enjoy the porny twist, but the concept certainly has room for merit. Even the alternate endings style of the movie fit a CHYOA format. If you do it, good luck.
Thanks for the good wishes. Right now I'm leaning towards using the script as the guideline for what happens with NO interference from the reader. Of course, I also like the idea of possible later trying to gameify it, but my code fu is exceptionally weak, and I admit it. Again, the OC keeps coming to mind, but then I remember the "Master Detective" version of the game... Which gives players 4 choices they could go with easily... (Course, adding dialogue as GOOD as the film would be a lot of work...) Miss Peach, Madame Rose, Monsieur Brunette aaaand Sergeant Grey. (No fifty shades jokes, please.)
Ok... have to laugh here for a second. Just realized that if I gender swapped ONE of the characters, I've already written all four of them. (Yeah, coincidences abound in my brain. It tends to crosswire things that really have no business being crosswired... ) And people wanted supernatural elements...
