Apologies if this has been suggested already. I couldn't see any such suggestion. So, my story has got quite complicated and I'm sure it's nowhere near as complicated as others'. I've taken to creating a flowchart with draw.io instead of using the storymap as it is far easier to see what's going on. Although I'm sure it'd be a huge time investment, I'd like to suggest the implementation of either an integrated graphical/flowchart view, or perhaps an export option to draw.io As you can see the map view doesn't really show the complexity of the story.
Flowchart sounds nice for small stories, though the implementation could be quite complicated. Could be even more difficult to make it viewable on small devices.
Yea, it would be complicated though probably really useful. I'd be happy if it wasn't usable on small devices but I guess if the feature was there people would want to use it on their phones. Using a separate flowchart solution works, but just means I have to make sure I keep it up to date. Draw.io actually lets you import from a csv or url and can do all the positioning automatically given link attributes so it probably wouldn't be hard to export the story map in a suitable format for viewing purposes.
