Non-erotic and miscellaneous categories are not a good place to have guides in them. Who will look for guides there? Guides can be found either by accident or when they are new\updated. We have some really good stuff (like guides written by RicoLouis) that deserve to be seen by more Chyoa users
I think a Guide category could be included in the next CHYOA update, although it might not actually be used enough to warrant its inclusion. The non-erotic category is already rather small, as would be expected. Perhaps a non-story category might suffice?
I don't think that a category for guides would draw attention to them. The CHYOA Guide has its own link at a top spot of the site and has barely as many followers as there are new stories each month.
That may be because the Guide has its own link on the homepage, users don't feel the need to favourite or bookmark it.
That might be the case. I still don't think a separate category would be effective. I'd rather put a link "Community Resources" to the sidebar that links to an overview chapter.
