Hello, I'm writing "Haunting," which I've already got the first half dozen into chapters posted. This is intended as a game with changing variables. My question is if it's possible to jump around from one path to another. For example, on Day 1, the character has the option of visiting different people in different rooms. He visits someone in the kitchen and interacts with them (changing a variable or two) and advancing their story. On Day 2, I want to go back to the same choices as Day 1, giving the character the option of visiting the same character in the kitchen and moving that path along, OR visiting someone else in, say, the living room and advancing their path instead. Basically, a repeating week where the reader can choose who he's going to interact with that day and have different choices depending on the variables of all the characters. Is this possible?

Yes, you can use link chapters to jump to another chapter. So you can switch to another branch or create loops.

How to set up a linking chapter is described in the CHYOA Guide in the chapter Add a Chapter/Edit Chapter. (See point 5.)

Always make sure to use an empty chapter to create a linking chapter! Otherwise, you might lose content!

There are also chapters about the usage of variables and conditions in the CHYOA Guide. See Conditional Branches.
