Hey everyone, I'm new around here since about a week. So, uh, hi. And now a question: I noticed in a story that some chapters led back to other parts of the story and when I add a new chapter there's an option to link it which seems to be what that is... but I can't find an explanation on how it works, and so far my attempts haven't met with any success. Is this explained somewhere?
You can link one thread to another by clicking "Add a new chapter" and then on the right-hand side click "Link Chapter" (it's above "Delete Chapter"). It'll give you a search bar, where as you type the name of previously entered chapters they will appear in the drop box (this is because you can have multiple chapters with the same name, such as "Yes").
Thanks! I'm still mostly noodling around in other peoples' stories, but I've got a couple of ideas for my own that I'm working on or starting to plan. We'll see what happens.
I'm working on my first story now, one I'd planned to write in regular fiction form but never quite got off the ground. I find this format works better for me as chapters tend to be shorter, and I don't have to write everything linearly as I tend to do when publishing chapter-by-chapter elsewhere.
