Hey guys, just as the title says I'd like a function like this to exists. Sometimes I feel the front page is flooded by stories - good stories I admit, regularly updated too. Too regularly maybe - which I have no interest in. May it be for the kinks or the writing style or just because something doesn't click with me. The point is, I think they often overshadow any possible content that is less prominent or that gets updated with a slower pace. Or that is just more niche. I know that 99% of the stories are in development and that at some point I may change my mind in some cases, this doesn't change my opinion that this kind of feature could be useful to more people than just me. Also I think this could work better than say, a 'hide stories with X tag' feature, as often big stories are overtagged.
Are you thinking about a way to hide single stories? Or stories of specified categories? Or other ways of filtering?
Single stories. To clarify, I meant I belive it would be better to be able to hide single stories one by one, with a flag or something. Filtering out tags/categories could inadvertedly exclude big stories which are often overtagged.
