Hello everybody, I'm new here so I was wondering if you could help me with a doubt: when I opened my account on CHYOA I wrote a chapter for a story that already existed. Later on, I deleted that chapter and started my own stories. However, that old story (started and owned by someone else), continues to appear in my list of stories, despite the fact that I no longer have any chapter in it. I saw I'm listed as an author there, but I have no chapters, just did have one long ago. Do any of you know how to remove it from My Stories? Thank you very much!
I think the mods of the site have to do it. I was in a similar situation a few days ago and posted a thread here and one of them just came and removed me.
Thanks a lot for your reply! I was trying to avoid bothering them. I kept looking for some button that said "Withdraw from this story" or something like that but didn't find anything. Thanks for the info!
The owner of the story can remove the author/editor status as well. Though you can also ask a moderator. It's only a few clicks.
