Hi! New writer here; published a story yesterday. As of right now, according to the story map, it appears that some chapters have been published (no "in review" button and it's getting views?), and others are "not published". Is it possible to publish specific chapters as I work on and finish them? Right now there's a chapter that's under "saved as draft". According to another post I saw, I think I should have a "publish" option next to "save as draft", right? I can't seem to find it, though. Sorry if I've misunderstood the publishing process!
Just to make sure, you submitted your story for approval and it has been approved? Keep in mind it does not happen as soon as you submit. You will need to wait for a moderator to approve. I ask because in a not-yet-approved story, I believe it will be the case that you can only save chapters as drafts, not publish chapters. I can see that you have added around 4 chapters to a story, but the story they're attached to is not actually published as far as I can tell. You may be still in a step between moderator review and decision?
Hi Gatsha, I went back and checked, and on the "My stories" it says "in review". I don't know how I managed to miss that earlier. Thank you so much for your help, I'm just a little blind Will there be a notification when the story is approved?
I think you should receive a notification when it goes through. It's up to the reviewing staff when that'll happen, but my understanding is it usually gets reviewed within a day or two? Good luck!
