how do I stop getting emails

I've unchecked receive emails, but I still get emails when someone sends me a message. how do I stop that?

 

Where have you unchecked to receive e-mails? The settings for the main site are separate from the settings for the forum.

I think that is currently not possible.

So you might want to add a suggestion about adding that option.

 

Confirmed as not possible. I turned off absolutely everything concerning notifications and emails, messaged myself through my writer account, and still got an email notification about a message.

A site update is the only method. Sorry, wicker.
