How do you delete stories?

I'm trying to delete two stories I'm no longer working on. I tried deleting one from tail to head, but the option to delete it doesn't appear. Am I overlooking somethng?

 

You should see the option "Delete Story" in the sidebar if you edit the story.

 

It's missing for me?
I clicked on edit in the introduction page but there's nothing there.
