I submitted some chapters for approval a few months back. The story's owner has been online a lot since then but hasn't approved the chapters. Is it possible they missed my chapters or are they just ignoring my chapters?
The author gets a notification if someone adds a chapter to their story (depending on their notification setting) As some authors get a lot of notification, they might overlook that easily. If the story owner or an editor opens the drop-down menu on the top right, there will be a yellow number beside "Review Chapters" If in doubt, I'd write a message to the story owner.
Speaking from personal experience, I've missed chapters "In Review" for upwards of two months, just because I didn't notice the initial message saying they were uploaded, and I'm VERY active...
I did try messaging them a few months back. The author isn't on too often, so they may have forgotten to reply. I tried again, and I'll see how it goes. They may just be the loner type.
