How to add images to chapters?

I know about the tutorial on the site, but it doesn't seem to work for me.
It shows me the image icon and alternative text, instead of the image itself.
I've tried multiple image hosting sites, but none of them worked.
Did anybody have a similar issue?

yeah, it's a common problem. The main issue is usually people using the wrong link. You have to link the picture directly instead of the page.
