    A linking chapter is always a chapter on its own.
    So, if you have a chapter A which should have an answer which leads to chapter B, create a chapter as child chapter of A, choose "link chapter" and type the title of chapter B.

    I'm going to jump in with a question about linking. Is there any way to link chapters that branch, but can come back together later?

    Like you can go from A to B1 or B2 then like a chapter or two later have both come back to a single choice? Or should I
    just continue to copy/paste chapters? I apologize if I'm not explaining properly, I was just curious.

    Don't do that ;)

    Yes. It is described in Add a Chapter/Edit Chapter (5. Link Chapter)
    Within your branch B1 you would just continue with the follow-up chapter E1. Then you would create a new chapter at the "end" of B2 and convert it to a Linking chapter D2 which links to the chapter E1.

    Hi,

    I'm reading through that link now, but I'd still like to clear something up about it.

    Say I have Chapter X (Pre-sex scene) and Chapter Y (Post-sex scene).

    I have about 3 ideas for scenes of possibly varying length. For the sake of simplicity, we'll go with Route A, 3 chapters; B, 5 chapters; and C, 2 chapters.

    Is it possible for me to get all those chapters to link to Chapter Y?

    Thanks,

    Yes. You can link to any chapter within your story which isn't a chapter link itself.

    Your paths then could be like

    Code:
    X -> A1 -> A2 -> A3 -> Y
    X -> B1 -> B2 -> B3 -> B4 -> B5 -> Link-to-Y
    X -> C1 -> C2 -> Link-to-Y
    or

    Code:
    X -> A1 -> A2 -> A3 -> Link-to-Y
    X -> B1 -> B2 -> B3 -> B4 -> B5 -> Link-to-Y
    X -> C1 -> C2 -> Y
    In a story without game mode, your link should always continue one of the branches. (In Game Mode stories there are more possibilities how to do it.)

    Thanks for the response.
