How to publish? Is there a button that puts it up for review?

I am an idiot. Some of my chapters are published and some aren't. Do moderators automatically publish chapters, or am I supposed to click something that puts it up for review?

 

If your story gets approved, all chapters of that story become public. You don't have to approve or "publish" the other chapters.

If you publish a chapter after your story is approved, it becomes public. If another user adds a chapter and your story is set to "Moderated," you or one of your editors have to review it.

 

Note that you can save a chapter as a Draft instead of publishing it. If you later want to publish such a chapter you have to edit it and press the "Publish" button.

 

This only works if the story is already approved.

 

how long do stories stay in review?
new here and messed up a few things when i started, think i have the start ok now but says in review after 4 hrs?

 

Friedman usually reviews new stories. It will depend on when he is online.
