Sorry if this was mentioned somewhere else, but I was just wondering why these tags are no longer available?
The rules of the site changed because of the new funding process. New rule set has not been revealed yet (it may be undergoing development still.) Some categories being hidden and words being censored out has already happened. I guess tags went missing as well then.
The forbidden words and categories are hidden to new accounts and when you're not signed in. When you're signed into an account that's at least 1 month old, the forbidden words should be back. This is intentional, as far as I can tell. The Inc*st category has been renamed to Fam*ly and the Non-Cons*nt category to Power Pl*y. From an old account only: those categories and MC are missing from the category list on the front page or from the sidebar. The stories in them do show up in the unfiltered story list, and the filters are still accessible if you use them by direct URL: https://chyoa.com/search?type=story&category=mind-control&sort=last_activity, https://chyoa.com/search?type=story&category=family&sort=last_activity, https://chyoa.com/search?type=story&category=power-play&sort=last_activity. This looks like a bug to me.
