Hi: I am trying to add a new thread on a story with this new interface and, despite I fill in all fields (Answer, Write the next chapter..., Follow Up question and Tags), when I try to publish it, a message appears "The content field is required". Any idea about it? Thanks in advance.
Hi, thanks for reporting this. I assume that you're using the new rich text editor. Could you disable this option under "Settings" and try to submit the thread again? If it works then, you probably have issues with the javascript of the rte. You could then try to clear your browser cache.
Hi Friedman, I too am having that problem in both Internet Explorer 11 and Google Chrome, whilst being on Windows 10 64-Bit. I disabled the RTE as you mentioned and that did resolve it. However, I re-enabled and cleared my browser cache and was not able to get it to run. Am I missing something? Thanks for the help in advance, E
I would like to report that in 32 bit Win7 with Chrome I have had no trouble: might be a flaw in that train-wreck Microsoft calls an OS...
I may have found a workaround: go back a page, copy your body text, (The header and footer are lost anyway.) and go back to the page you are trying to branch off of, click 'add new chapter' again, and paste it in, then fill in the rest of the text (header and footer) quickly: that allowed me to post my glitching chapter!
I can't get any changes to unfinished chapters to register. Also the story maps don't read as red after I click on and read them. Why?
I suppose you have compatibility issues between your browser and the rich text editor. Can you tell me which operating system and browser you're using? As a quick fix you could disable the rich text editor under Settings.
