Mind control stories: A dating app, but you get an upgrade where you can control the person who agrees to meet you for a date. She doesn't realize it of course. A dating app that lures unsuspecting women into the hands of a mind controller. A cruise ship whose main entertainment is an unscrupulous hypnotist. A sorority hires a new "house mother," but it turns out she was a pledge at that sorority 25 years ago and was humiliated through a hazing, and is back for revenge on the daughters of the girls who hazed her. Woman is a bisexual dominatrix.
Wow: four ideas, and I hate all of them... The one I hate the most is the last one: because you are implying that bisexuality and BDSM inclinations are the results of trauma, neither of which is the truth. Also, you are misrepresenting hypnotism: it can't make you do anything that you wouldn't do normally in a given situation: just make you think you are in an abnormal situation.
I'm not sure about the first three but the last one has me interested. I would suggest (Not trying to be patronising) that with a variety of different ideas floating around your head - you go with whatever gets your juices flowing and looking at the list above i would say the forth one has more meat to it and perhaps a challenge? Writing that house mother as bitter and twisted but also putting on a facade to actually get that role and gaining the confidence of the house, hiding her inner demons until the opportune moment and thinking of ways to inflict her past on the unsuspecting girls. I'd say go with the forth one, but now my simple comment has turned into leading you down one route.
