    • Trying to come up with new stories that revolve around formal wear. Specifically I like the idea of beautiful women in slinky dresses.

    Currently I have:
I'm hoping to come up with more ideas that have a premise revolving around formal wear.

I've currently got the following ideas but no inspiration as to what to do with them:
    • Cocktail Party
    • International Spy

Why not just combine them into 'Internation spy at a cocktail party'? A sexy spy needs to infiltrate a cocktail party in order to steal secret incriminating documents being held by the host. She either needs to seduce the host into giving up his secrets, or sneak her way passed security in order to break into the secured areas filled with laser beam rooms and lonely or bored guards and steal them that way.

    New Starlet Awards Ceremony:

The centerpiece/culmination of the story is a banquet and awards ceremony for women starting out in an entertainment field.

Picking the dresses to wear is its own challenge. A starlet knows she's in contention for an award by being invited.

    Ways to play it:
    * Conservative. Pick a classic look. In order to pull this off, you may need to attract the attention of a famous designer, so it's not just a Little Black Dress, it's That Big Designer's signature version of a Little Black Dress. The story might be how you get the designer's attention and whether some of your rivals are also trying to get that designer's attention for THEIR dress.
    * Trendsetting. Find a designer who is hungry to get noticed. Let them (or maybe more than one of them) make a case for why they should dress you. Pick the one who won't make their name by making you look silly in their crazy dress, but will make you look fabulous in their eyecatching design.
    * Personal. Work with a designer to create your own look and style that no one else will have. Hope you don't fall into cliché or something laughably strange. A success will let you steal the show on your own terms. Or maybe you can adapt a look from somewhere else and pioneer the next Harajuku Lovers style.
    * Referential. Base your look on an iconic woman from classic entertainment, updated with personal and modern touches to avoid a too-faithful homage that leaves you looking like a drag queen (also known for inhabiting iconic feminine looks). It might be an interesting challenge working with costume historians and archivists as well as a designer.
