Story here. DESCRIPTION: A hardcore anime fan gets sent to a world based on the tropes of his favourite anime genres. There are two threads based on different combinations. Isekai / Harem / Mecha After failing to wipe out humans with a biological weapon (it merely changed the male / female ratio) an alien empire prepares to invade Earth. The hero must rise from lowly factory worker to ace giant-robot pilot. Isekai / Shonen / Yuri A half feudal, half anarchistic, all female civilisation of elves is threatened by an army of dominatrixes that literally come from hell. They must band together without becoming the monsters they fight. Admittedly both threads are still in their initial exposition phases but I'm curious to know if they are readable. While writing it just feels... clunky. Does my explanation of why the main character gets a custom reincarnation make sense? Is the pacing as bad as I suspect? What would you like to see improved?
Hey, just wanted to let you know that I think this concept is really amusing and it's fun to think of all the combinations you could come up with. It's the sort of story that seems good for collaboration since anyone can jump in and make a branch. I liked the mecha side a bit because it has a slower burn, but that's just the type I like.
You were right about collaboration. Myst has now created two new threads, School/Yuri/Mecha/Fantasy/Harem and School/Yuri/Idol/Scifi.
