I've been using my Itouch to write my stories for a while now (since I find it easier to write on it than on a keyboard), but I've been having trouble with an app I was using, so I decided to use the default ios browser. Problem is, when I try to log in to CHYOA through safari it just loops me back to the main page, still not logged in. It only loops me back when I put in the correct username and password, so I know I didn't type it in incorrectly. Anyone had this problem before as well, or know how to solve this? Thanks in advance.
I also prefer using a touch screen to write (used it for 100% of my work, except adding pictures). How about being reasonable and not using Apple products? I had an iPhone once and I swear it was the first and last product I own from them. They have absurdly stupid compatibility issues with everything that is not them. I type on an android phone using Firefox and never got any issues with logging in.
If everyone in the last 40 years would have followed similar advice, we probably could only choose between OSX and Linux as operating systems. Not everything is a compatibility issue. A lot of things can occur because of a lack of standards. Also, mobile browsers seem to be stone age technology (see the recent ad issues on mobile devices) Do you try to log in from the popup or do you get the plain login page? (I'm not sure about the behavior on mobile devices) login page link: https://chyoa.com/auth/login
My itouch is 3 generations behind (it's iOS 6), has a massive cracked screen running down the middle, and occasionally catches fire (not a joke). I am also broke. So I'm probably not going to get a better device anytime soon. I'm not exactly sure. I think it was through the plain login page, but I'd have to check. I have since found a workaround to the problem however, by sorting through the mess that is called the istore for a compatible alternative browser app. It took me a couple hours.
