Is it possible to add a chapter to the top of the story?

I want to add a "writers guidelines" chapter to my story, above all of the other chapters for clarity. is that possible?

 

Only mod can do this!
Alternatively you can delete some chapters, add your intro chapter and restore your deleted chapters again.

If you go into edit chapter, off to the right under "Link Chapter" I see "Delete Chapter" but I've never tried it to be sure it works.

The place I've seen most answers from mods was in the 'Site Feedback' section but I'm not sure that's the best/only way. I've personally never tried.

Regular mods can't do this, either. Only the admin, Friedman, can.

It is not possible to reorder chapters by deleting and restoring them.
If a chapter gets restored, it appears at the same position where it was before deletion.

Yes, just Friedman.

He's probably quite busy right now and wouldn't respond to a fairly minor request right away. Rearranging does require some fiddling with the database, AFAIK.

As gene.sis pointed out, this won't work. Restored chapters will just appear in their original positions.
