So I’m currently writing a brand new story and it’s my first time writing and it involves different characters basically doing what they do best here, and I was wondering if there was a way to check how many people view each chapter, or what specific chapters they thumbed up, etc.
Go to View Story Map (it'll be at the bottom of a chapter.) This will show you how many views, likes, and comments each chapter has received
You can't see how many people have viewed your chapter. The view stat only shows how often the specific site has been shown. If one user refreshes the site 100 times, it will result in 100 views.
