Isekaitis Blues: O.O.C. Chat And Announcements.

Since the game IS going to go live today I thought it time we had a general chat thread.

This thread may at times move faster than the main game, and is a good place to ask out of character questions, such as system questions and why an IC update was late or the like, but it is not a place to discuss IC issues OOC, such as characters having interpersonal problems, or how to deal with IC challenges such as finding ores or growing crops.

It also will be the place I will make any OOC announcements about the game: starting with this one:

Even if we don't have majority buy-in for starting the game yet, it is going to start around 22:00 tonight, Eastern USA time. After that, we will establish the rhythm of three (sometimes four) dailly updates, as announced previously elsewhere.

 

I won't be online at 2200 EST (0400 CET).

 

Well, let's hope the game gets to start before then. Don't worry too much though, I expect this game will not get going very quickly with the slower pace...

 

How much do our Stasis Capsules weigh?

 

Each contains roughly 60# of assorted refined metals.

 

By the way, is this accurate? Cost: 4 mana per point of body gained. Or is it 4 initially then +1 per body point gained?

 

4 per point gained, which means that generally speaking, you can only increase your body by two per day. However, there's a part missing, I forgot to add it: you can MAINTAIN the body points you gain by 'committing' one mana point to the task, which lowers your maximum mana score by one. You can uncommit those motes at any time, but if they were committed longer ago than one day you lose one point of Body immediately when you do.

 

You also can, over time, build up your body permanently by spending advancement points like anyone else, but you don't have any of those yet.

Yeah, happy accident then. Just thought a Nordic woman might mistake a small black/white alien as a dark elf or dwarf.

 

Belive it or not, she's not an alien, she's human, just from a very weird planet.

Yes, no, sort of...? That's a question I don't have a good answer for: but its more like, to a medieval European, is a Native American an Alien? Kinda, but not really. Sure they have coppery skin, and talk funny, but they are clearly HUMAN... Now @asddas193 's character, HE'S an alien.

I mean the conquerers called those of other nations alien
so while they know they are human they'd still be alien
