I’ve created this to try and get a steer on how I think and you all think my story is developing, how do you think it should develop? Any experiment ideas? Should there be more dialogue / character building? I'm very new to writing, especially the whole cyoa style. I think I left good spots for story branches to split for choices, and spent some considerable time on really making choices (Over 100 pages with only 26 thread count deep the biggest). I'd like to see some people contribute new ideas too. I'd appreciate any feedback, positive or negative. Thanks Doadventures.10
Okay the view count is continually growing at a steady pace but the writing block has truly set in at the moment. I think I might start a new story about Jessica but have the origins story and how she got at the half way house explaining all the nasty things that happened to her before being driving off to her new family in Forced
I'm assuming by the lack of replys on here, I've failed to entice anyone further from the forum side to contribute or provide feedback?
As far as I see it, people are in general not too active in discussing stories, unless they want to critizise something, or they are actively contributing and need to discuss how to synchronize different storylines or the "lore" of the universe the story is set in. The favorites and likes are, more or less, the real feedback, and it looks as if your story is doing fine in that regard. I also sometimes wouldn't mind some more active discussions among authors.
I absolutely agree with what you're saying in relation to more discussions between authors and thank you. I suppose I was really looking for constructive criticism / feedback because like you say the likes and favourites the story has is overwhelming for me. I really set out to write this for me but I feel like it's got to a stage where I'm not sure where to take the rest of the story and genuinely thinking to close a lot of branches and finally have some endings before ending it completely and starting a new story.
