This is my first try at hosting a sexual rpg, so don't expect perfection across the board with it. For those who read the advert, you know the general gist of the game already. Your character is a minion of the Dark Lord Of Darkness and the general goal is not to die(Or perhaps in some of your cases, not die again.) There are no stat rolls to this. Your character's success is determined by their skill, likelihood and whatever other variables may come into play. That being said, an imp would have an easier time trying to sneak than a ogre. But even so, if an ogre can hold onto to their dream of being a master thief long enough...who knows what may happen. The game also comes into two settings. The Moonlit Sea, a world, that cannot be found on any map. Born from people's dreams and memories, the result is a vast plane with areas ranging from chaotic war torn realms to sugary lands of pureness. This world is born out of imagination and where strange creatures of all shapes and sizes call home. Through that imagination comes weapons of all kinds and types as well, some not even existing in the current time of the human realm. Which is the second place for things to exist. The human planet, Enanium(According to the random name generator), is a world in the prime of the medieval era of knights and crusades. While it has many different places to it, the most dominant nations on the rise are the ones that favor magic and reason, over the sword and blade. However, the warlike nations that remained hold fierce fighters. (I'm not sure how much background you really want right now, but I can always dump more in game if anyone wants it.) Most of you are more used to these games than I am, so you likely understand how character creation works. I will still provide a rough template below(I'm too dumb to figure out how to make the summary tabs, so I will get back to that.) Though this isn't really anything much different than what you're used too. Age: Sex: Race: Golem, Centaur, Sphinx, what have you. It's up to you. Typically, a more powerful race is going to be put in more important positions than something like a Kobold would. That may seem unfair, but that's a Dark Legion Empire for you. Though this may not always be the case either. Appearance: Class: Rank: This is what I think will give some people trouble. I will try making a hierarchy chart for army ranks, but should you choose a technically non combat character like an alchemist, then consider it as a spot for your occupation and how important you are in it. A higher rank does mean you are more capable and likely better than the standard minion and you can start off with nicer things, but also with more responsibility and more targets on your back, as well as your superiors stepping up their game to not be overtaken. Abilities: This would cover your spells and maybe a special power if you have them. Are you a gnome also capable of telekinesis? That's an ability. Talents: What your natural proficiency and experiences enable you to do. Equipment: You're welcome to choose more advanced weaponry or potent magic weapons from the get-go. However, this could be more trouble than it's ultimately worth. Background: Typical details. How did you end up in an army of darkness? What's your motivation? You don't need to be extensive about it if you don't feel like it, but the more that you have, the more fleshed out your character is. If you have more questions or want something more expanded on, then just ask them. I think the only thing to note here is that while you can try to start off really powerful, it will mean that the people above you will have to be stronger than you in a hierarchy system. But if you promote with time, you gain power while they stay the same power as they started. It's also a lot more difficult to get those upgrades when you're closer to the top and it's less impressive. You can make your upgrade plan public with your sheet or send it to me privately for review. I'm just assuming most of you have a general idea of where you want your characters to go so you have your own plans, but I can make ones for them if you want them, as well.

There may be ranks between those ones in a low, mid, high tier variety. It would take a long time to go from zero all the way to the top, so there's no need to start exactly at the bottom rung ladder unless you feel like it's more advantageous(A higher start may be more initially useful, but it's not necessary for the better.) But let's put the max cap to start as a mid tier captain. That's still leagues above the average mook. Again, this only really applies to those in army roles otherwise it doesn't even matter. If you don't, you probably have less natural advancement opportunities but can start off more capable much like a higher tier rank. So if that makes any sense to anyone and if I'm not making it too needlessly complicated, I'll leave this here.

Class: Sorceress Rank: ??? Abilities: Angelic Wings: Cera can sprout a pair of wings out of her back. They look like a black version of the typical angel wings. Unfortunately she can keep them for only a few minutes, and then has to wait for a day before she can use them again. She hopes she will be able to use them for longer as her mastery of the dark arts improves, eventually making her able to use them without any limitations. The wings are the result of a failed experiment she performed in secret (though she's quite happy with this particular 'failure'), so no one in her home town knew about them. Various shadow- and darkness-based spells (haven't decided on an exact list) Talents: Seduction (females) – she has a natural talent for seducing girls – and she's more than happy to use it when a girl catches her fancy Persuasion – she can be very charming and persuasive when she wants to be Research – she is quite talented at finding valuable information when examining things, such as old tomes, or stone engravings, or what-have-you. This greatly contributed to her studies of the dark arts Equipment: An enchanted wooden staff that increases the power of all attack spells she casts. Also allows her to cast Fire Bolt and Ice Bolt for free, but has a limit of 10 charges, currently down to 2 (so she can cast 2 Fire Bolts, or 2 Ice Bolts, or a Fire Bolt and an Ice Bolt). The charges can be renewed, if she can find someone with the right skills (or if she can learn the skills herself) A simple cheap gray dress A simple cheap brown dress Simple leather shows Simple leather gloves A simple brown leather cloak with a hood She had more stuff, but she sold it for money while traveling. Background: At first glance a young and pretty elven girl. However, she has always been fascinated by the night and the darkness, and eventually started studying the dark arts, despite the disapproval of all the other elves in her home town. Her refusal to give up her studies – as well as her success in said studies – made her a target. An important noble was murdered. And guess who was accused of doing the deed? It wasn't just the murder Cera was accused of, though: - multiple thefts – most of them were NOT her doing. Admittedly, a few times she did “borrow” things she needed for her studies, but still - using the dark arts to seduce various people – a complete lie. Cera doesn't know any spells that could help her seduce someone. Besides, she's never had any problems seducing pretty girls, and she's never had any interest seducing boys - orchestrating various “accidents” – another complete lie. Most of the accidents were just that – accidents. The rest were not her doing - using her dark arts to curse people – a third complete lie. She doesn't know any curses Naturally, despite the lack of any real evidence, she was accused of all that and the murder, and arrested. She was supposed to stand a supposedly-fair trial – but with most people already against her due to her study of the dark arts she decided not to take chances. Fortunately the guards keeping an eye on her were both female, so it did not take long to seduce them and fuck them until they were so tired they fell in a deep sleep. After fleeing home she traveled for a few months before finding the Dark Lord's forces and joining them, looking for chances to study more. Her initial goals are to learn more about the dark arts and to gain control of her wings, but eventually she might decide that it is time for some of her incompetent superiors to retire... Or she might find other goals – we'll see.

Covered in lustrous black scales the dragon's one unappealing feature is the pronounced gauntness of its face, which makes it look skeletal and sickly, though that in truth is simply the natural appearance of Black Dragons... Talents: Cooking, Cleaning, Sewing, and Prayer/moderate close combat ability, excellent eyesight, and impeccable agility, dexterity, endurance, and strength for flying. Oh, Kralthanlaghan's also learned how to cook and reorganize from her 'waking' self, but rarely has time to do so... Equipment: A magical saddle that will keep a rider onboard and stable enough to fight and not get motion-sick no matter how fancy the flying gets, and a pair of special magic goggles that lets her see through all mortal illusions and disguises, or concealment not made of thick stone/dirt (defined as at least 5' worth) or thin metal (0.2", except lead, which requires only 0.05" to block the goggles scrying powers.) Background: Novice Maria Isabella Franchesca Amina Maya Lopez has been having a strange ongoing dream each night since she hit puberty at 13-&-a-1/2. In this dream, she is a "Young Adult" Black Dragon called Kralthanlaghan serving in the bureaucracy of the dark lord of the dreaming realm known as "The Shadow Imperatore". At first, the dreams frightened her, but then she grew to accept them, and even look forward to them. The dreams helped her discover her sexuality as a mildly lesbian-leaning bisexual, and often became wet-dreams as she road along with her dream-self's sexual escapades. Her parents took note and arranged for her to be married lest she "fall into debauchery"... (Keep in mind she's just turned 14 and is going through puberty like a normal girl...) The man they chose was politically powerful, wealthy, respected as a wizard, and not too old, why he was barely 41*! *(To Maria's, at this point, scarce 14...) He was also boorish, rude, talked with his mouth full, explained things Maria already knew as if she could not possibly grasp basic concepts simply because she had 2 X chromosomes instead of an X and a Y, and in so many other ways was the kind of man to make any artistic and dreamy 14-year-old-girl recoil in horror. In her kingdom, however, a child was their parent's property until full majority at 21 years or certain other conditions were met such as a legally ordained marriage, so if they said she was to marry him, then it was so. The night before the wedding she prayed, prayed as hard as she could, for any god who would listen to deliver her from this horrible fate, then fell asleep crying. She didn't wake the next day, but rather the day after, awoke in a cage, being hauled away to be tried as a Dark Mage! You see, on the day she had been missing, what ought to have been her wedding day, a black dragon had stalked the town, attacking and killing various people, starting with a massacre of the wedding guests as they settled in the church of Hestia for what should have been the morning investiture and first rites... The trial was conducted, and her defender made a simple but successful argument in her favor: she had prayed to any god who would listen to deliver her from her fate, and she had vanished with the dragon appearing in her place, then, when all who would have forced the wedding were dead, the dragon vanished and she reappeared. That was not witchcraft or a bargain with a devil, for there was no such stain on her aura: that was a Greater Miracle, and ipso-facto beyond the questioning of the courts of mortals. Though the court was forced to accept this argument, the prosecution counter-argued that if she was, ipso-facto, a Living Saint, she should be sent to a convent to train in the arts and powers of a cleric, and so the judge ruled. Thus it is that now 18 years old and past her lesser majority she has moved from an oblate to a novice... Three more years before she is asked to take the Oath of Sisterhood, surrendering herself to the Silver Flame body, soul, and mind forever after, or leave the convent which is the only home she's known for seven years to roam the countryside with nothing to her name but the coarse hempen robe of a renunciate, one pair of woven rope sandals also of coarse hemp, one pair of her undergarments of her choosing, and a stout oaken stave... / Kralthanlaghan started out life as a baby black dragon 61 years ago. Like most dragons she is semi-lucid in her dreams, whatever she could do in real life, she can do in the dream. Things went along OK until she was 56 when she was killed in her sleep by an adventurer. However, her dream-self managed to attach itself to a noble human mortal called Maria by consuming Maria's dream-self in an act of ritual intelivoreism, and so live on. Her plan is to convince Maria to undergo a ritual where she takes on the form and spirit of her dream self thus resurrecting her former waking body, and regaining her former long lifespan... Kralthanlaghan, or "Kraltha" for short works for the internal affairs division of the dark lord of the dream realms. She is good at aerial recognizance and even certain aggressive anti-sedition campaigns like bombing raids. As to how she came to serve the dark lord, that's easy to tell, her hoard had been stolen, her lair destroyed, and she barely escaped alive: they offered protection, good pay, lodgings, at-cost healthcare, and three square meals a day, so she signed up. Turned out those benefits were for officers, not enlisted, but she was moved to civil service and promoted to a 'special agent' within six months so it wasn't too bad... Alright. So let me just do a headcount so I know whose the starting group. It's fine to join in later, but given the tendency for these games to peter out, I don't expect that as likely. Moonnblack and Nemo have their characters mostly ready except maybe for some last minute details. And I think the other two who wanted to do this were Generic and Majus, unless that's changed. There's no real rush, but I just want to double check and make sure I'm not missing anybody.

Name: Dromani Age: 246 Sex:M Race: Sphinx Appearance: Dromani shares many of the traits of others of his species. While there are examples of Sphinxes becoming quite large....enormous even. It tends to take centuries, if not millenia. Most Sphinxes tend to be roughly the size of a large lion. Dromani is somehwhat larger than this with large feathery wings that can keep him airborn over short distances. His fur and feathers on the wings are deep gray almost black and his human face merges seamlessly into a large mane. Class: Sage Rank: I'd probably say Captain or Squad Leader? Not sure. It feels weird suggesting being something other than the lowest rank since typically RPG's start at the bottom. Abilities: Riddleform - Dromani can recite knowledge and riddles in an ancient tongue. The language compels the listeners to attempt to solve the nonsensical puzzles. Against stronger wills, it merely distracts, but the puzzles can completely debilitate those of weaker wills and even cause extreme mental duress to those weakest minds. typically this is used in conjunction with his empathic abilities to protect his allies...Although in dire times, the words can be uttered by his voice. Psychic Empathy - Even the weakest Sphinxes have some sort of empathic ability. The power to sense the emotions or intentions around them. However, when honed it can be used as a powerful tool and weapon. Dromani has the power to sense the surface emotions of those around them and what their their intentions are (Although a skilled foe can learn how to hide such things). Given time, he may learn to be able to use this power to influence thoughts and control emotions. Complete mastery may allow him to dominate someone completely. However, such powers are still outside of his reach. Alternate Form- Although his sphinx body is what he is most comfortable in. Dromani has learned that it isn't particularly easy to get around in a world built for smaller beings. Thus with time, effort, and research, he has learned how to change form into something more humanoid at will. His humanoid form is the size of a typical human roughly in his late-twenties to mid-thirties with black shaggy hair that lays down to his shoulders. However, upon first glance it's pretty easy to tell that he isn't human. His head sports a pair of feline ears and a long slender tail stretches out from behind him. Both are covered with fur that matches his hair and his tail has that little fuzzy tail-bob-thing that lions have. Elemental Manipulation- When his other abilities fail. Dromani has the ability to call forth simple elemental magic to defend himself. He can do this in either his true or alternate form. While the ability is unfocused which gives his elemental attacks less potency than those who focus on a specific element. He can manipulate the elements of Fire, Earth, Water, and Air to defend or attack enemies which are not phased by his mental assaults. Talents: Dromani is if nothing else an intellectual being. He loves riddles and enjoys a large knowledge pool from years of research and reading. This knoweldge exists in both of his forms. His true form is effectively that of a large lion. He wields sharp claws and has quite an enormous amount of strength behind him. He also has minor capabilities of flight...although these capabilities can't be used over long distances. Since his everything below his face is that of a lion. He misses out on the fine manipulation capabilities of other races. His size also makes maneuvering in tight corridors difficult. The alternate form has other advantages and disdvantages. He loses out on his physical strength in favor of fine manipulation and dexterity of a smaller race. One of his more niche skills is his extensive knowledge of of Shibari(Or Kinbaku-bi). One foray into the subject of decorative bondage in his youth and he was hooked. Equipment: Since most of his physical and mental capabilities are a natural part of him, Dromani does not carry much in the way of equipment. He typically carries in a large satchel that he can carry in both forms: a change of clothes for his alternate form a large number of books to pass the time decorative silken ropes for when he feels the desire to indulge his interests. Background: Dromani started his life much like any other Sphinx. Stuffed up in a stuffy library to learn as much as he can. Sphinxes are known for their vast fonts of knowledge, but that really is the extent of it. They hoard knowledge. They don't use it or give it out freely. They simply hoard it. This fact about his race irriated Dromani and caused him to become disillusioned with the life of an erudite sage. Thus he ventured out to utilize his knowledge for his own gain. His own ambition. Unfurtunately his monstrous natural form was shunned and ostracized by most and thus he chose to take a darker path...
...okay. I guess, we're seriously doing this. But I said I'd let you do it anyway so... I think, he could be placed either on the low tier of Captain or the high end of Squad, much like most other people's so far if they are doing an army rank. It may seem weird that you aren't starting at the bottom rung ladder, but then I don't think a freaking Sphinx is going to be put in the same league as a goblin. Any spells to utilize? Most of it seems fine. Though, you have to assume while the Sphinx form is naturally powerful, there isn't going to be very many things that work as good equipment for it, unless it was something specifically designed for four legged creatures in the first place. Additionally, it's unlikely to win any prizes for it's looks in the eyes of humans. At least compared to it's alternate form. All in all, it should be fine enough as is.
Well, i wouldn't have mentioned it if I wasn't seriously considering it... Maybe if it was like a young sphinx? But I already mentioned that he's an adult and playing as a young sphinx would bring up the question of sexual maturity and other things that I like to stay away from I was hoping that he could function mostly on Brain Power, but I suppose it might be worth me thinking of some more direct abilities. I just sort of wanted to keep it low key so there's room for improvement. Magic Rings and Amulets might work...along with specially made cloaks. As far as looks go...Well, that's why I decided to do an alternate form. Conversely, a quick search on Rule 34 for Dragons or Sphinxes(Mostly dragons in this case) reveal that there are people into some weird things like that. (Not that there's anything wrong with that) But hey, to each their own. I'm not expecting any action for his sphinx form
I wouldn't be too sure about that: a certain dragon involved in this capper probably would find the sphinx form much more attractive than the humanoid one...
Well, Majus was still working out a couple of minor details, but nothing that should be too time consuming. I don't quite know where Generic is at. I guess that it's supposedly possible to kick start the game early, but I don't think that's necessary yet. However, if nothing by the end of the week, then I'm probably going to start anyway and find excuses to put them in late. I'd rather avoid having to do that if possible though. I also don't feel like that should be necessary to do, but I won't keep people waiting for too long if it comes to it. Then while I do have this week off of work, I still have some stuff relating to my new job that I'll be starting soon. Then when I start that job, it will be four days on and four days off. So there should still be a solid window for this even when I start working something with better hours and better pay.

I don't think I remembered to mention it to everyone, but I decided that the launch point would be the 7th, 12:00pm, Mountain Time. I'm not going to stop you from joining later on if you aren't ready, but I suspect most of you want to be there at the start. Of course, if everyone feels good where they are, I can go ahead sooner. It seemed like there wasn't too much left for the most of you to do, but I still want to let you get all your things ready and the like.
I've gone off and did a little bit of a background. It's not exactly as detailed as I would have liked, but there's not really much to tell. Sphinxes live very isolated lives and Dromani has likely cut ties with anyone who knew him before he left. I also added another ability Elemental Manipulation. It's just something a bit more direct, but not as effective as his mindpowers. Also, are we going to have to worry about things like Pregnancy and STD's? Should I consider investing in SphnX(tm) Brand Condoms?
