Hi. I'm a little embarrassed to ask this because... in all honesty, I see this story as a great work of art, up there with with the best love stories of all time. It's highly sexual, but in between the sex is THE single sweetest plot I have ever beheld, movie, book, game, opera, any of them. There are parts that are a bit sketchy, what with tricking the other sisters, but the chapters where they do it out of their own love, caring, tender affection for their brother are... stunning. The characters are ..highly developed, to say the least. They have their own lives and hobbies, have dreams, ambitions, reputations, long pasts and backstories. And they each love their brother in their own different ways. It's always a pleasure to see the moment when they really let him in, and show off their caring side to him. My favorite story arc is that of Maggie, seeing her broken past melt away, and the changes in her personality. I have to say, my most beloved part is where she and the brother are having sex in the house, and she deviously turns the noise of the bed's squeaking not quieter, but LOUDER. This story is amazing, in that in this scene, and throughout most of the story, the sex is overdone, to the repetition of many times in a row are ridiculous. Yet it's the moments in between, those little moments of life, after all the sex dies down, and the storm has calmed, where the characters and story show their true self. I'll never forget when Maggie got angry at that moment when her brother turned the conversation on her. She melted her past away and through the tears let him, and happiness, in. The way the story builds on itself too... like the simple notion that she wore a dress to the table where they all ate together. The conversations that took place there. All the little things... they're so rare in any story of any media type. I...adore... this ...novel... because, underneath all the rampant sex, there's a soft layer, which turns out to be about half the book. I've heard the term slice of life, and I'd say it's the way this story handles, and portrays, so many of the little things in life, that makes it one of the best. I would be...to put it softly, highly dismayed if this story were lost to time. My questions are these: Would it be possible to obtain a downloadable version for my own personal library?
