I want to add a couple chapters to some public stories but I want to kind of be fancy. One is a customize-able story, so how do you add the codes for the readers choices to pop up and how do I add a "skip this chapter(s) and go straight to the porn" link?
To link a story, you create the chapter, type the chapter name/answer normally, then click the 'link chapter' text in the right side menu. Then type the name of the chapter you want to link to in the box that appears. doesn't have to be the same as the link chapter's name, so you can e.g. have them press a button called 'go left' that takes them to a chapter called 'go forward' and it's all the same. what do you mean by 'codes for the readers'? You can't use the customised names or anything as conditions - you have to use game mode.
For instance there is a story in which you can change the names and ages of all the people in the story. I want to add a chapter to this story including number 2 friend in a scene. If the friends name you choose is stacy but in the main story the author made her name originally Tina. When I add to the story how do I ensure the reader is still reading about their stacy?
When you are adding the chapter look on the right side for a list of the variables players can set. For example: {first_name} {last_name}
You can see the list on every "Edit Chapter" page. Clicking on the variable in the sidebar might highlight it, so you can copy it easily.
