So, I am working on a branch of the Custom Girls story, and one of the characters I am bringing in is going to be an MtF trans. I would appreciate if someone who is familiar with this process could answer a couple questions of mine, for the sake of making sure that what I include is as accurate as possible, considering things. First off, what are some common, but undesirable side effects of the hormone and pharmaceutical treatments as part of this transition? And second, what are some valid reasons that medical providers could refuse doing reassignment surgery, that are not the fault of the person wanting to do it? I don't want to incorporate prejudice, though if that is the most likely reason for it then I will.
Maybe also take a look at the Trans channel of the CHYOA Fan Discord. There might be users who are familiar with the issue.
