I wrote and publish a story and now want to change it to a public story that allow others to add in whenever they want. Is this possible or am I stuck with it being on moderated mode?
You can do that on the Edit Story page. Just go to the My Stories page, click on the vertical ellipsis next to the respective story and choose "Edit Story" If you choose Public, additions of others become part of your story immediately and without your approval.
